What is therapy?
Therapy is a way of learning more about yourself. In working with a therapist, you will learn ways to:
- overcome obstacles and difficulties
- develop self-confidence and inner strength
You will learn how to move toward personal transformation by defining the small steps that lead to lasting change.
I’d like to make changes in my life, but do I need a therapist?
Many people, of course, make life changes without a therapist. But if you’re feeling conflicted, stressed, or uncertain about how to go about making changes in your life, working with a professional may help you move forward.

What can I expect?
As a licensed, clinically-trained social worker, I use the social work model of brief, solutions-based therapy. This method is an ideal way to approach life transformations, with:
- a focus on a limited number of visits
- an orientation toward concrete actions to fulfill an objective
